We’re going to be holding a St. Patrick’s Day party and dance on Friday, March 18th, 2016 in the social area of the firehouse. Be sure to drop by and don’t neglect to bring along your friends. You’ll be treated to great entertainment by DJ Kristin. As well as…..
Free Darts (bring your own soft-tip darts or use ours) …… Free Shuffleboard…… and Free Pool on our NEWLY RENOVATED, regulation table.
Plenty of adult beverages will be available, as well as our usual Friday night menu of snacks and hot food.
The doors open at 7 P.M. with a $5 cover charge. Kristin is from 9 P.M. to 1 A.M. …. and, of course, this is for adults, 21 or older.
See ya there!
We’ve managed to get some unique decorations for the event. We’ve tracked down photographs of some of the condemned Molly Maguires. Most coal crackers will have heard of them….. hard working, family men, who were executed by the Commonwealth between 1876 and 1878.
All the relevant history books about the Mollies include charcoal renditions of the principal characters. But what we’re going to have on display will be REAL photographs of Black Jack Kehoe, Thomas Munley, Edward Kelly, Michael Doyle, Thomas Fisher and Yellow Jack Donohue. The owner doesn’t share these photographs very often, but they will be on loan to us for the night, so be sure to stop by and have a look.
